Hello! I am an artist, illustrator and storyteller based in Indianapolis, Indiana. I am also a dad of three wonderful kids! I work as a videographer and filmmaker by day (yardboxfilms.com), but I am also passionate about children’s writing and illustration. For me, the medium is challenging and exciting, and I approach it as an art form of words, pictures, and big ideas. The goal is to share a unique perspective on life through the eyes of a kid, in which can help them learn and grow.
This website is a collection of audio stories with original musical compositions by my cousin Eric Gauen, who I have worked closely with for over a decade. Over the past year, we have launched a storytelling podcast titled Listening Pond: Stories for Kids and their Adults.
